How we research and update information about County Longford.
Independent and sourced
MyLongford is an independent guide, not an official council, tourism, transport or emergency service. Directory inclusion is not a guarantee of current trading, and an event listing is not a promise that an event will proceed.
We use original organisers, local authority publications, heritage records, library and archive collections, and direct business information wherever available. Sources are linked where practicable. A checked date indicates when information was gathered, not a guarantee that nothing has changed.
Corrections and removals
If a listing, date, photograph or other detail is inaccurate, contact contact@mylongford.com with the page URL and the proposed correction. We check requests against evidence and may temporarily unpublish material while doing so. Please avoid sending sensitive information unnecessarily.
Time-sensitive material
Expired events and notices are removed from current public listings according to their recorded dates; information with no confirmed end date may still need additional checks. Always confirm road conditions, bookings, visiting arrangements and safety details with the responsible organisation.
